3 APPS TO IMPROVE YOUR BLOG PHOTOGRAPHS

For the time being, I am currently using my iPhone 6s to take my blog photos as I am yet to (but really need to) purchase a camera! If you have any recommendations please comment and help a girl out! Luckily the iPhone 6s actually takes quite good quality photos, although they need a little bit of help from a few apps to make them pop!

FACETUNE

WHITENING
This feature makes my my photos appear brighter and fresh which gets rid of the dingy yellow colour.

DETAIL
This feature helps to make particular parts of my photo pop and just appear more 'detailed'.

DEFOCUS
I like to use this feature as my 'blurred background camera effect'. It defocuses the background and helps to make the main part of my image stand out.

SNAPSEED
I like to use Snapseed for the 'tune image' feature and the 'glamour glow' feature. I play around with the brightness, contrast, saturation, ambience, highlights and warmth in the 'tune image' section. In the 'glamour glow' section you can choose from 5 options and also alter the amount of glow. I like to use either number 2 or 4. Just look at the difference?! So much brighter and prettier compared to the original photo.

VSCO
There doesn't look like there is a lot of difference in these two photo's (although there is a small difference). I just like to use the F2 filter in this app.

ORIGINAL PHOTO vs. EDITED PHOTO

So these are the 3 apps which I use as my go-to editing apps for my blog photos, what are your favourite apps, softwares, etc. for editing your blog photos?

Lot's of love, Soph x

  5. Wow that photo comparison! I wouldn't look at that photo and think it's been over edited but when you compare it to the original it's SO different!!
