During the autumn and winter months especially, I like to have a hot lunch before I head out into the cold. Cully & Sully is a brand which I recently discovered. I have had the pleasure of trying their soups and it is safe to say that I am a big fan. Cully & Sully's soups are perfect for those who don't have much time to cook but still want a nutritious, delicious and homely meal. The soups only take a few minutes in the microwave (or you can heat them up on the hob if you have time!) and they have a range of flavours to opt for! They are also Gluten-Free!
To be completely honest, I have never been the biggest fan of tomato soup. I always found them to be way to 'tomatoey' - is that even a word? However, within the first few sips of Cully & Sully's Creamy Tomato & Basil Soup, I knew I was a converted tomato soup fan (of Cully's Mum's recipe anyway). What I loved most about this soup was that it didn't just taste like a load of blended tomatoes - it was creamy and velvety. The ingredients complimented each other (you can find the ingredients here) and together they created a delicious (not too tomatoey) tomato soup.
I like to add toppings to my soups, so for my Creamy Tomato and Basil soup, I opted for a small dollop of Philadelphia, cheese, grated chilli, parsley and pepper which went perfectly.
When I think of soup, I automatically think of a chicken or vegetable soup so this combination of chicken and vegetable was divine! Unfortunately, I have developed a cold and a sore throat so this was perfect for soothing my throat and clearing my sinuses! There is nothing more comforting when you are ill than a bowl of hot soup. For my toppings, I opted for grated cheese, grated chilli and pepper!

I was very reluctant to try the Pea & Minty soup. I just couldn't imagine the taste, but nevertheless, I was intrigued to try it! It was absolutely delicious! For toppings, I added some bacon (as suggested on Cully & Sully's website) and it went so well with the soup!
Cully & Sully are Irelands most popular soup, but some of their soups are available in the UK in Tesco stores! I highly recommend you give them a try!

Thank you to Cully & Sully for sending me the soups from their range as part of their #TheWayWeMakeIt campaign. I have thoroughly enjoyed them, especially as it is getting colder and I've had the sorest throat!
This is a sponsored post but all opinions are my own.
I'm not a huge lover of soup - but these look so good! At work I am currently having salad for work and it isn't cutting the mustard! I may have to check these out - great post lovely xo
ReplyDeleteI'm very fussy when it comes to soups, but these were absolutely beautiful! I am not a major fan of salads and especially as it is getting colder these are perfect for a quick and easy lunch! Thank you very much! xxx
DeleteThis looks amazing! I have never tried anything from Cully & Sully before but I think the soups sound lovely! Also love the fact you add toppings like cream cheese to yours - such a great idea.
ReplyDeleteThank you! You should definitely get yourself down to Tesco soon and try them! They went perfectly with the toppings, I definitely would like to experiment with some others like pesto and maybe even nuts!
