STICKY PLUM MEATBALLS

Ingredients


Sauce:


1 tbsp Honey
1 tbsp Garlic
1 tsp Ginger
1 tsp 5 Spice
1 tbsp Blue Dragon Sticky Plum
2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 small Red Chilli

Meatballs:


5% Fat Beef Mince

1 tsp 5 Spice

1 tsp Garlic
1 tsp Ginger
1 tsp Oregano
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper


Method

1. Mix the seasonings with the mince and form into small balls and leave to the side whilst you make the sauce.

2. In a bowl mix together the sauce ingredients and add the meatballs. Cover with cling film and leave to marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes.

3. Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the meatballs and sauce to the pan and increase to high heat. Once the sauce begins to bubble, turn back down to medium heat and leave to thicken. This should take 10-15 minutes.

4. Once the sauce begins to thicken, reduce to a lower heat and stir occasionally until the sauce becomes sticky and soaks into the meatballs. This should take a further 5-10 minutes.

5. Once the sauce has all soaked in and the meatballs are sticky serve with desired sides.
